Jewellery Making with Wilde Workshops
Friday 25th July // 10am - 5pm
£170
Join Ailsa Wilde from Wilde Workshops for a full day workshop in jewellery making
Using found and dried botanical elements, participants will learn texturing skills through roll printing, creating a unique piece of jewellery to take home, inspired by the natural environment.
You will be working in copper during the morning session, creating samples and experimenting with the rolling mill to create natural textures by rolling and impressing flowers and leaves onto the metal. Following lunch you'll start using silver to work towards your final piece of jewellery - this might combine both silver and copper and range from a pendant, earrings or a matching set. The provided metals will give enough to make two pieces of jewellery to take away at the end of the day.
Wilde Workshops aim to be as inclusive as possible, providing a welcoming and nurturing environment where creativity is enhanced, and at the heart of what we do. All tools and materials will be provided on the day, and a delicious lunch will be provided by Wild Gorse Kitchen.
